Women in tech
With women making up about one-third of the workforce, RISC Software GmbH is already above the industry average. We want to further expand this strength: The goal is, on the one hand, to further increase the proportion of women in the company and, on the other hand, to recruit female employees* as project managers.
The compatibility of work, family, education and leisure time is very important to us. Furthermore, we offer numerous health-promoting measures and leisure activities to promote team spirit.

We offer:
- Targeted further training measures for female employees for the further development of leadership and professional skills
- Flexible working time models such as flexitime, part-time or the option of teleworking for all employees – but of course
especially for people with care obligations
Bringing women into leadership positions – funded projects

RISCversity: 2022-2023
The two-year RISCversity project is designed to support the long-term goal of further increasing the proportion of women. This objective is now being expanded to include a diversity strategy. In concrete terms, this means drawing attention to other dimensions of discrimination such as age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc. Furthermore, there will be many measures in the areas of human resources and recruiting, generation management and communication. This will be done firstly with the help of workshops and training courses for all employees, in cooperation with tbw Research GmbH, among others, which already contributed its expertise in the area of gender and diversity in a preliminary project. On the other hand, employees are trained and deployed as diversity officers to serve as a point of contact for creating a positive and productive atmosphere in the company. As a third measure, an equality plan is being developed to anchor the newly developed values in the company. Experts from the Hagenberg University of Applied Sciences and the JKU Linz will be consulted. Further measures will follow in the course of the project.
The RISCversity project is funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency in the FEMtech Career program (project number 892247)..
