What is your name, how old are you, and where are you from?
My name is Lukas Fallmann, I am 23 years old, and I am originally from Lower Austria. I came to Upper Austria and indirectly to RISC Software GmbH through FH Hagenberg, where I am currently studying Medical and Bioinformatics.
How did you become aware of RISC Software?
FH Hagenberg organizes an annual career fair, where RISC Software is always represented. I took the opportunity there to talk to the on-site staff about possible internships. After the fair, I applied directly.
In which department did you work, and what were your tasks?
I completed my internship in the Data Science team of the Logistics Informatics department. My tasks included developing a tool to measure the quality of LLM responses. Additionally, I had the opportunity to present RISC Software GmbH at the Long Night of Research.
How did you perceive your working environment?
My working environment was very pleasant. I always had the opportunity to turn to the members of my team when there were technical uncertainties. During my internship, I was supervised by Sandra Wartner. Sandra also studied at FH Hagenberg, so she was able to support me well with various tasks that came up for the university during the internship. Overall, I found the working environment at RISC Software GmbH to be very familial.
Will you continue to work at RISC Software GmbH?
I am very pleased to be able to continue working at RISC Software GmbH in the future.
