The “AI Innovators Workshop” is aimed at managers and employees in upper and middle management who want to acquire knowledge about the basic building blocks for the implementation of AI projects. It is suitable for both AI newcomers and those who already have basic knowledge and want to expand their skills. The focus is on giving participants a better understanding of AI applications as well as generating inspiring ideas on how AI can optimize the company’s own work processes and what is important when developing innovative solutions in the AI environment.

Advanced Hands-on Workshop: From Theory to Practice with Machine Learning and Deep Learning for Neural Networks and Computer Vision | 1-day
This workshop offers a hands-on insight into advanced machine learning and deep learning. Participants work with Python, Jupyter, and PyTorch to build, train, and apply neural networks in areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision. The workshop covers theoretical foundations and practical coding sessions on topics such as network architecture, attention mechanisms, and transformer architectures. Please bring a laptop – installation instructions will be provided in advance.

This workshop offers participants a solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning, allowing them to apply this knowledge in their daily work. By combining neural networks and their application in computer vision, participants will gain a comprehensive overview of modern machine learning methods.
In hands-on sessions, participants will learn how to build and train neural networks. This will cover key aspects such as architecture, initialization, regularization, optimization, backpropagation, and automatic gradient differentiation. In addition, advanced topics such as attention mechanisms and transformer architectures will be explored, particularly in the area of Natural Language Processing (NLP). These topics will be deepened through live coding sessions to implement the theoretical concepts in practice.
As the workshop progresses, participants will deepen their knowledge in the field of computer vision and work on real-world use cases such as recognizing handwritten digits and traffic signs. They will apply what they have learned by setting up, training, and evaluating their own models to identify patterns in images and video streams. The workshop provides a practical approach, enabling participants to finish with a solid understanding of how to implement deep learning models in Python with PyTorch.
Each session includes coding activities where essential components of neural networks are implemented and trained with PyTorch. To participate optimally, please bring your laptop – detailed information on software installation and preparation will be provided in advance.
Target audience:
- Practical application knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
- Theoretical knowledge and understanding of AI, ML, DL (mathematics, statistics)
- Basic programming skills, preferably in Python
- Independent software configuration prior to the workshop following instructions
- A completed degree in a STEM field is an advantage
Advanced AI Workshop: Practical Applications of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Docker for AI Solutions | 2-day
This workshop provides participants with comprehensive knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs). The goal of the workshop is to optimally prepare participants for the practical application of AI and LLMs.
- Minimum number of participants: 6 people
- Maximum number of participants: 8 people
Contents:
The two-day curriculum combines theoretical foundations with practical exercises and discussions. The focus is on the direct application of AI technologies, tailored to the requirements of the participants. The workshop covers not only technical fundamentals but also includes in-depth discussions on architectures and specific use cases. These architecture discussions are an essential part of the program and help participants apply the learned concepts to their own projects.
The workshop is divided into two days:
Day 1: Technical foundations for Docker in machine learning
- Introduction to Docker
- Running an LLM locally in Docker
- Using the Nvidia Container Toolkit for Docker
- Architecture discussions and specific use cases
Day 2: Deep dive into Large Language Models (LLMs) and RAG applications
- Introduction to Langchain
- Advanced Langchain: Prompt chains and output parsing
- Vector databases and embeddings
- Building a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) application based on Langchain
The workshops take place over two consecutive working days and include practical sessions in which participants actively work on implementing solutions. To ensure smooth participation, detailed information on preparation and the required technical resources will be provided in advance.
Target audience:
The target group of the workshop is computer scientists and technicians who already have experience in Python programming and develop and implement digital products in their professional work.
