Hagenberg, October 2024 – RISC Software GmbH celebrates the successful completion of the RISCversity project. The project aimed to further increase the proportion of women in the company and promote a diverse and inclusive corporate culture.

The long-term goal of the project was to create a positive and productive atmosphere and to establish aspects of equal opportunities and diversity in the corporate culture. Under the leadership of project manager Elisa Neuhauser, the RISCversity project was successfully completed and has reached important milestones.

Project manager Elisa Neuhauser commented on the success of the project“The completion of the RISCversity project marks a significant step for RISC Software GmbH on the way to an even more diverse and inclusive working environment. We have taken important measures to promote equality and diversity within the company and I am proud that we have successfully achieved these goals.”

Successes and progress: a look at the goals achieved

Several strategic measures were taken as part of the project. This included workshops and training for all employees, carried out in collaboration with external experts such as the Equal Opportunities Ombudsperson and diversity experts Ümit Mares-Altinok and Heidrun Schulze. These training courses aimed to raise awareness of gender and diversity issues and create the basis for an inclusive corporate culture.

“When everyone – managers and employees – is involved in the diversity change process, things can get moving very quickly. The commitment of the RISC Software teams to an appreciative working atmosphere and fair, inclusive cooperation was clearly noticeable in the project and quickly led to new, diversity-sensitive solutions,” said workshop leaders Ümit Mares-Altinok and Heidrun Schulze, who accompanied RISC Software GmbH during several workshops in the area of generational competence.

The interests and needs of all generations in the company were recorded and appropriate measures were developed to create a sense of togetherness. In addition, rounds were organized to exchange experiences on diversity and gender-equitable values in the corporate culture.

Anchored in the corporate culture: gender officers

“The RISCversity project has shown us how important it is to actively work on promoting gender and diversity issues. We have learned a lot and are proud that together we have made an important contribution to an inclusive corporate culture.” says Gender Officer Christina Hochleitner. Her colleague Yvonne Marneth is also convinced that she is making an important contribution in her role as Gender Officer: “The goals achieved by the project are a success for all of us and a sign that awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion are growing in our company. This experience will also help us in the future to create an environment in which every employee feels valued and can develop their full potential.”
