Hagenberg, October 2024 – RISC Software GmbH celebrates the successful completion of the RISCversity project. The goal of the project was to further increase the proportion of women in the company and to foster a diverse and inclusive corporate culture.
The long-term objective of the project was to create a positive and productive atmosphere and to establish equal opportunities and diversity as integral parts of the company culture. Under the leadership of project manager Elisa Neuhauser, the RISCversity project was successfully completed and reached important milestones.
Project manager Elisa Neuhauser commented on the success of the project: “The completion of the RISCversity project marks a significant step for RISC Software GmbH on the path to an even more diverse and inclusive work environment. We have taken important measures to promote equality and diversity within the company, and I am proud that we have successfully implemented these goals.”
Successes and Progress: A Look at the Achieved Goals
Several strategic measures were implemented as part of the project. These included workshops and training sessions for all employees, carried out in collaboration with external experts such as the Equal Opportunities Ombudsperson and diversity consultants Ümit Mares-Altinok and Heidrun Schulze. The trainings aimed to raise awareness of gender and diversity issues and to lay the foundation for an inclusive corporate culture.
“When everyone – managers and employees alike – is involved in the diversity change process, great things can happen quickly. The RISC Software teams’ commitment to a respectful working environment and fair, inclusive collaboration was clearly felt throughout the project and quickly led to new, diversity-sensitive solutions.”, said workshop leaders Ümit Mares-Altinok and Heidrun Schulze, who supported RISC Software GmbH in workshops focused on generational competence.
The interests and needs of all generations within the company were identified and corresponding measures were developed to foster mutual understanding. Additionally, exchange sessions on diversity and gender-sensitive values in company culture were organized.
Embedded in Company Culture: Gender Officers
“The RISCversity project showed us how important it is to actively promote gender and diversity topics. We learned a lot and are proud to have made a significant contribution to an inclusive company culture together,” said gender officer Christina Hochleitner. Her colleague Yvonne Marneth also believes that taking on the role of gender officer has a real impact: “The project’s achievements are a success for all of us and a sign that awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion are growing in our company. These experiences will continue to help us create an environment where every employee feels valued and can reach their full potential.”
