RISC Software GmbH meets Ars Electronica Festival

OK-Platz is the central festival hub for the festival. Address: OK Platz 1, 4020 Linz

Public transport: The nearest tram stops to the OK Quarter are Mozartkreuzung and Taubenmarkt.

Arrival by car: Parking garages are located in the immediate vicinity.

The meeting point for our event has not yet been finalized — as soon as we know more, we will inform all registered participants.

If you would like to use your day ticket before our meeting at 4:00 PM, you can do so anytime from 10:00 AM. At the Welcome Desk you will find a list under the name „RISC Software”, where a number of day tickets are available. The day ticket gives you free access to all festival locations, exhibitions, conferences, and workshops. Please note: For workshops and selected performances, prior registration may be required due to limited capacity. Please refer to the information in the program. Tickets are non-transferable. Please carry valid photo ID with you.

Even if you use your day ticket beforehand, please make sure to arrive on time at the meeting point described above.

After your arrival at 4:00 PM, there will be a short welcome address by festival director Veronika Liebl and Managing Director Wolfgang Freiseisen. At 4:30 PM, the WE GUIDE YOU tours will start in small groups (duration approx. 1–1.5 hours). After the tours, you will be brought back to the starting point, where there will be time for networking and light refreshments. The festival grounds close at 7:30 PM.

The organisers strive to ensure accessibility; unfortunately, this is not possible at every location due to the existing building structures. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please feel free to discuss them with me in advance by email or phone, or on site with the guides.

If you are unable to attend after all, we kindly ask you to cancel using the form at the bottom of this page. For technical reasons, registration and cancellation will close on September 7 at 18:00. After that, your registration will be forwarded to the organiser and the tickets will be issued in your name. Therefore, cancellations or changes will no longer be possible after this point.
