RISC Software GmbH meets Ars Electronica Festival

POSTCITY is located right next to Linz Central Station (address: Waldeggstraße 41, 4020 Linz). As parking spaces in the vicinity are limited and it will be very busy during the festival, we recommend traveling by public transport. The route from the station to the entrance to POSTCITY is well signposted. You can find the link to the map below. Please allow plenty of time for your journey, as the routes on the site may be longer and congested.

The meeting point for our event is between 3:45 and 4:00 p.m. in the outdoor area near the main entrance (forecourt) – just like last year. Someone with a “RISC Software” sign will be there to guide you to our location in a separate area, so please be punctual. Unfortunately, it is not possible to access this location on your own at a later time.

If you would like to use your day ticket before our meeting point at 4 p.m., you can do so at any time from 10 a.m. onwards. At the Welcome Desk on the 1st floor, there is a list with the name “RISC Software” where some day tickets are available. With the day ticket, you get free access to all festival locations, exhibitions, conferences, and workshops. Please note: Due to limited capacity, registration may be required for workshops and selected performances. Please refer to the program for details. Tickets are non-transferable. Please bring proof of identity with you.

Even if you use your day ticket in advance, we ask that you arrive at the meeting point described above on time.

After arriving at 4:00 p.m., there will be a short welcome by festival director Veronika Liebl and managing director Wolfgang Freiseisen. At 4:30 p.m., the WE GUIDE YOU tours will start in small groups (duration approx. 1-1.5 hours). After the tours, you will be brought back to the starting point, where there will be time for networking and light refreshments. The festival grounds close at 7:30 p.m.

The organizers strive to ensure accessibility, but unfortunately this is not possible everywhere due to the old building structure at POSTCITY. If you have any special requirements, please feel free to discuss them with me in advance by email or phone, or with the guides on site if necessary.

If, contrary to expectations, you are unable to attend, please use the form at the bottom of this page to cancel your registration. For technical reasons, we will close the registration and cancellation options on September 2 at 6:00 p.m. After that, your registration will be forwarded to the organizer and the tickets will be issued in your name. Therefore, cancellation or changes at a later date will no longer be possible.
