RISC Software GmbH is launching QuditML, a groundbreaking research project that pushes the boundaries of quantum machine learning – funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) as part of the “1000 Ideas” call.
How can we ensure that software delivers reliable results – even if it is so complex that it cannot be fully understood? Prof. Martina Seidl, Head of the Institute for Symbolic Artificial Intelligence at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, addressed this exciting question at an internal lecture on July 9, 2025 at the premises of RISC Software GmbH.
The ISO C++ Committee Meeting (WG21) took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, from June 16 to 21, 2025. Michael Hava was once again on site to help shape the further development of the C++ standard.
RISC Software GmbH looks back on an extremely successful year 2024. A total of 22 research proposals were submitted to highly competitive calls by national and international funding agencies such as the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) and the Horizon Europe programme.
On March 27, 2025, the first Pioneers Day of RISC Software GmbH took place at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. Under the tongue-in-cheek motto “Industrial AI – Don’t Panic!” – inspired by Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – around 100 guests from business and science accepted the invitation to an afternoon full of inspiration, exchange and practical AI knowledge.
