DI (FH) Andreas Lettner

What kind of education do you have?

After my A-levels at the Federal Trade Academy in Steyr, I decided to study Software Engineering for Medicine at the University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg. During my working time at RISC Software GmbH, I was able to continuously further my education. Among other things, I have completed certification courses for Scrum and Kanban at various training levels.

How did you hear about RISC Software?

Already during my studies RISC Software GmbH in Hagenberg was a very well-known company. At that time, I took the chance to gain first experiences in software development already besides my studies.

What are your responsibilities at RISC Software GmbH?

Over the years, I had various tasks within the company. I started as a software developer and was soon allowed to lead projects and work on software architectures. Over the years, my work focus has shifted to supporting projects from outside. As Head of Coaches I support our project managers and coaches in their work and help the teams to develop constantly.

What do you like about your job?

The feeling of being able to support my employees and to see how the company is continuously developing. In addition, the challenges you face are exciting and motivating. This also demands that you continuously develop in many areas, which means that you get to know new interesting approaches and topics. Ultimately, I like the versatility of my job, being able to initiate and support development both technically and organizationally and personally.
